FINAL REMINDER - 2026/2027 Safe Environment Training & Renewal

ALL VOLUNTEERS MUST BE COMPLIANT PRIOR TO SERVING!!! (Accounts will be archived August 31, 2026 due to inactivity.)

The Safe Environment Training fiscal year runs from July 1st and ends June 30th.
We are pleased to announce that the focus of our training this year is on reporting and understanding the signs and symptoms of abuse in children. In addition,many of us may need to renew our Criminal Background Check this year. Please login to your account, complete your training and follow the instructions on how to see if your Criminal Background Check requires renewal found here : https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/13TgNvO-Bqojp67Q3gaSOPGCI8imWKfKdyFN7R-LQVF8/edit?usp=sharing
If the link does not work for you, please see the instructions found inside of the curriculum or reach out to your coordinator for more support.

To complete your training, please log in to your CMG profile.

1. Begin your Safe Environment Training by clicking on the link below: https://phoenix.cmgconnect.org.

2. Verify and update your Profile Information by clicking on the “Edit Profile” section on the left.
Please make sure to indicate your primary ROLE. You can only pick one.
Please make sure to indicate your primary CATEGORY. You can only pick ONE.
· Employee
· Priest
· Deacon
· Candidate for Ordination
· Volunteer
· Educator (ONLY for Catholic School Teachers & any Diocesan Catholic schools Employees)
Roles or Categories not listed above require prior authorization from your local SET Coordinator.

3. Please choose only ONE training under the “Required Trainings” to complete your SET requirement.

4. Go to your “Dashboard” and click on the ONLINE Renewal Video.
If you do not see an ONLINE Renewal option under “Required Trainings”, you must take the Foundation option (available LIVE and ONLINE).
