We are incredibly grateful to Fogo de Chão Gilbert for donating 10% of their first week’s sales, totaling $19,896, to St. Anne Friends of the Needy!
This generous gift will help us continue serving the growing number of families coming to us each week.
For us, this work is about more than handing out food. Our Catholic faith calls us to recognize the face of Christ in every person we serve, to uphold the God-given dignity of each person, and to let our charity be a visible expression of His love.
Recently, Keith visited us for the first time and shared this:
“Today was my first time visiting this drive-through food bank, and everyone treated me with so much kindness and compassion. They even gave me a beautiful bouquet of flowers, which was such a thoughtful and unexpected gesture. Thank you for treating people with such kindness and dignity during difficult times. Your generosity meant more to me than you know. I hope that one day, when I’m back on my feet, I’ll be able to come back and volunteer so I can help others the way you helped me today.”

His words say beautifully what we hope every person experiences here: not simply help, but the love of Christ made visible through charity, mercy, and Christian love.
And this work is only possible because people in our parish and community choose to take part in it. Every volunteer who gives a few hours, every family or group that organizes a food drive and every donor who supports the ministry helps us continue serving our neighbors in this way.
As one of the busiest food pantries in the East Valley, we need that help now more than ever.
Thank you to everyone again who supports this ministry and helps make this work possible.
In Christ,
John Caballero, Director
