Today, Pope Leo XIV announced that he will undergo surgery in the coming days following the discovery of a lung nodule. As he prepares for this procedure, he has asked the faithful to remember him in their prayers.

Throughout his pontificate, the Holy Father has called the Church to remain united in faith, prayer, and charity.

As he faces a personal health concern, we have an opportunity to express that unity by lifting him up in prayer.

May our Lord Jesus Christ grant Pope Leo XIV healing, peace, and a successful recovery. May the Holy Spirit guide his surgeons, physicians, nurses, and all those entrusted with his care, granting them wisdom, skill, and compassion.

We entrust our Holy Father to the maternal intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of the Church, and to Saint Joseph, Protector of the Universal Church.

May God sustain him through his recovery and strengthen him in his ministry as the Successor of Peter.
